Tanzania Service at the Abbey
Anyone who would like to attend the annual Tanzania service at the Westminster Abbey.
Nearest underground is Westminster, or St James underground stations.
Service Time. 5.00pm. We have to be at main entrance, the Great West Door, at 4.30pm. (as then we get seats right in the choir stalls. where we can see everything.) Finished by 5.45pm. The full choir will be singing.Date April 26 monday
This is a special service to commemorate TZ national Day. These services are held every year for each of the Commonwealth countries on their national Day. The High Commissioner sits in a special seat which has the crest of Tanzania above it. The High Commissioner or her Representative reads the lesson, and there are special prayers for Tanzania.
If you would like to attend please contact Tanzania High Commission on 02075631470 in the next couple of days. Names have to go to the High Commission and are then sent on to the Westminster Abbey.
